I have been sick all week, literally. It started last Sunday, and I am still running small fevers a week later! That's crazyness, but has given me lots of time off to work on my mini albums for this month's swaps. I have a swap with Trade Wind Scrappers at The Scrap Beach hosted by Kathryn, and one at Deux Shabby Chic hosted by Bona and Arlene.
I am about half done with the mini for DSC, and I am trying to do something different for once, which is a bit of a challenge. I am liking it so far, but I am not in love with it. I am going to work on and it, and my hope is to have it finished by next week and in the mail. Then I have to bust some rear on the other one, and make sure it's done and in the mail by the end of the month. I am on a bit of a time crunch.
I ordered a kit from http://theprettypaperstudio.blogspot.com/ which is a site by Marie, who is also a member of DSC. I am anxiously awaiting that in the mail and can't wait to play with it! I am really digging the top note die from stamping up. I really, really, really want one! It is on the top of my wishlist right now.
I also got a pretty big haul from http://www.sizzix.com/, and their clearence on ebay. I think I got around 14 dies all together. with 2 orders from sizzix and 2 from their ebay. I went a bit crazy, because I only have 1 sizzix die so far. I needed to expand my collection. The good thing is, I didn't spend that much money. I think I spent like under $65 all together. I am looking forward to those arriving in the mail as well.
I also placed a small order of a couple things I needed from http://www.dollarscrapbooking.net/. That should be here on Monday for sure.
I kinda want to do a secret sister swap over at DSC for the holidays. I think it would be fun to start it now, and keep it going through Christmas. I did one of those before at SIStv when I first joined 2 years ago, and it was fabulous. Maybe I will bring it up in the chat on the blog! I think the ladies would enjoy it, and it would give us a chance to get to know each other more!

Christina~Sorry to hear you haven't been well. I am loving how your mini is coming so far...although I think I may change it up a bit. I am loving the grungy design I came up with!
